During World War II Opium Poppies were grown on five acres of the land, to supply morphine for our overseas troops. Blair and the team at Mowbray Park were so friendly and ensured our stay was so comfortable. we highly recommend this place for a day trip or longer adventure. One of the joys of our nomadic lifestyle is seeing new places , exploring the amazing history of Australia and meeting new and interesting people. We never know what we will discover next. For our "Scissors, Paper, Wax" workshop with Wollondilly Art Group, fourteen eager students discovered how to combine Encaustic with plaster and paper.
